[Fixed] Can't build a 6th production building

I'm told i have 6, i dont.
I had 5, demolished my woodmill, then bought a farm, back up to 5.
Then i reached houses limit of 15, demolished 1 to rent 1,
then i demolished another to give me room to move.
Then i tried to build a Forge, and was unable to.

just remembered,
awinfield_82 tolds me he had the same issue.. not being able to build a 6th production building.

Problem is entirely unrelated to demolishing. I encountered the same problem.
The economy settings currently have a limit of 6 different types of buildings. While this sounds like it should never be a problem considering the six-building limit, 'Home' counts as a type of building towards this limit. Anybody who owns any kind of house is unable to get six different non-home buildings unless two of them share a building type.
I got around it by demolishing my owned home, bringing my building type count back to 5. A bit of a shame, but worth it to verify this and buy a farm.

Stumbled upon a probably related issue: After I demolished my Hemingford home and bought a farm, I tried renting a replacement home, but I was unable to:
You already rent/own the maximum number of buildings.
These are my current buildings:
VDZ Buildings
Work here! Free money for all!. (Workhouse, Workhouse) Town: Hemingford
Wheat. (Scripted-Farm, Arable Farm) Town: Hemingford
VDZ's Cheap Fuel. (Local Store, Fuel Stop) Town: Hemingford
San Jose Central Exports. (Exports, Exports) Town: San Jose
The Ironworks. (Manufacturing, Steel Refinery) Town: San Jose
Darksteel Forge. (Industrial, Forge) Town: San Jose
VDZ Rented Buildings
Tyzorgs TRAP HOUSE. (Home, House 1) Town: San Jose (Rented at 40d per month)

We ( VDZ mostly) worked it out.
a home is a building type.

ah.. well spotted on that types limit - I've fixed that now, bumped it up to 7.
Not sure on the other problem though, VDZ.. It should print another error line before the one you quoted, could you tell me what that is please?

Renting a home works now. It was probably caused by the rental making me exceed my type limit.
