 Elemental is a creative app for VJs and anyone interested in generating (non-AI) visual imagery and patterns linked to music. Through a complex but intuitive (and geekily fun) control panel, it provides (literally) endless ways of mixing images, external sources, animations, etc through a unique 3d particle system and effects deck, all of which can be fed out (via spout) into your favourite video mixing software for your final presentation. It's like milkdrop on steroids, but pre-2000s dirty oldschool steroids, before everyone starting wearing lycra. Early days for the app (hence the version number) but I think there's already plenty there to keep a certain type of person immensely entertained for hours. (Works for me anyway). It'll be released on Steam initially. A free, decently functional, lightly watermarked demo version will remain always available... the paid version will remove the watermark, support more channels and add advanced features (like a proper midi mapping interface, Ableton Link support, multiple spout decks, etc etc) but most importantly it'll encourage future development of the app and help make the wife happy. There'd probably be an 'Enterprise' edition too i guess.
